LADIES NIGHT IN by Marg, Marcia & Gina

I recently got to spend some time with my lovely friends MARCIA and GINA and the following cards are what each of us created.  Starting with mine, I continued to create some cards with my cute funky new stamps. I also made a pop up soccer card (thanks to a technique Marcia shared).  Using the owl template idea (as seen further down in this blog), I made a CAT- thanks Anne for the suggestion, I think I can even see a cute possum in that template!

I got to use Marcia's CUTTLEBUG embossing templates which you can see used in the two below cards. I love the effect it gives basic card stock and I have a feeling it's going to make all my other cards look very flat.  In a perfect world wouldn't it be lovely to own all these wonderful tools.

MARCIA made the following lovely cards plus used the templates to create a Babushka Doll, Penguin and Cat.  Very cute!

Thanks to ideas passed on by Marcia, GINA used these techniques to create the following beautiful cardsSTUNNING!

Love Gina's cards. Shame I will miss the next craft day - but the one in October I definetly want to play more with the funky stamps :)
Do you know the dog never got off my bed until 1pm and that was only with food enticements. :)

Once again you have created some devine cards Marg. I simple love the embossed look on the cards too. Makes me want to get back to card making & ditch the scrapping for awhile.... Can't wait till the 5th..

Spoilt dog Marcia. You've got some stamped images of the funky stamps to work on? I do tend to do more kids cards than mature at this stage in my life. I'm so impressed with both yours and Gina's cards, they are stunning.

Thanks Kizzie Wiz - I think the Cuttlebug embossing folders also work in the large red sizzix machine. I'm looking into this as they do give such a nice effect to backgrounds.

Marcia if you have some images already stamped may I suggest you try and colour them before the next craft day, that way you will be ready to assemble and achieve more in the time that you are there. Preplanning for the a craft session does help to focus and progress. HAPPY CRAFTING!
