Mothers Day Card Gift Box by Marg

What to give my Mother-in-law for Mothers Day?   Well I've spent a couple of enjoyable hours putting these cards together which I will then put into a gift box along with a dozen envelopes to give to her on Mothers Day.  My thoughts are that there is always a need for a greeting card, so I think she will be delighted with this gift made from the heart.  It's a great way to use up lots of scrapbook off cuts and all those stamps we have invested in.  I just need to make myself some now for a raining day.

CRAFT STORAGE SOLUTIONS

Whether you have your very own room, a cupboard, nook area or craft on the go, it's really important to try and be organised so you will use all that you have invested in.  Try to label and choose clear storage containers that will display what's inside, that way you will be able to quickly find what you are looking for or something you hadn't originally thought of using.  IF YOU CAN SEE IT, YOU'LL PROBABLY USE IT!

Use folders / plastic sleeves for storing lettering, stickers and shape templates.  This will help you keep track of what you have and they'll be easier to find.  A hanging shoe holder is a great short term organiser for photographs - being organised is the key to happy scrapping.

Rather than hold on to all those magazines you've subscribed to for years, rip out ideas of interest and consolidate them into one folder.  Use tabs if you like, ie. card making, layouts, templates, etc.  Avoid collecting dust by storing these old magazines, you'll be surprised how much room you'll have for more craft items (lol).

Use the internet to get craft ideas for storage, scrapbook layouts and card making.  I wonder how many of you have googled a stamp that you own to see what images come up.  There's so much inspiration out there for us to gain ideas from.  GO FOR IT and ENJOY!
