CRAFT IDEAS
Thanks Deb for this gorgeous card. If anyone else has a card or scrapbook page they'd like to share, feel free to email it to me for posting on this webpage as it's a great way to share ideas with each other. You may also like to include instructions or references of the items and/or materials used.
MARATHON CRAFT DAY - MAY 2008
The Marathon Craft Day and Stampin' Up demonstration held at Berowra Old District Hall was enjoyed by all that attended - it's always a pleasure to catch up on some "US" time without our gorgeous kids and naturally it was lovely to see so many of our original ladies attend.
Congratulations to Tara who had a personal best by completing 25 scrapbook pages!
A special mention of Robyn who came for the day, went to a 40th and then returned to scrap into the wee hours of the morning. Another special mention to Stacey, Marcia and Gina who travelled some distance to share the day with us - it was great to have you there.
The last remaining ladies were home and in bed by 5am ... I know what you are thinking and yes we do have a problem but now you know why it's called a MARATHON CRAFT DAY!
STAMPIN' UP DEMONSTRATION
Marelle showed us the wonderful range of Stampin' Up products and everyone enjoyed the make and take table. A sample of the make and take card is seen below in pale blue. The maroon card seen further down this page was created by using a VersaMark stamp pad or as some may know it as Perfect Medium which leaves a watermark slightly darker than the actual card. Lots of goodies were sort and almost all have been collected and/or delivered.

I can officially confirm that our next Craft Marathon is booked in for Friday 1 August 2008 - please contact me via craftymarg@optusnet.com.au to book in and confirm your table. Please note that no demonstration will be arranged for the next event. Finally I truly look forward to seeing you there.

STAMPIN' UP DEMONSTRATION - 16 MAY 2008
FREE "Stampin' Up" demonstration to be held at 7pm in the Old Berowra District Hall (cnr of Berowra Waters Road and Crowley Road Berowra) this Friday 16 May 2008.
FRIDAY NIGHT FUN: Come see what great new products this company has and learn how to create some beautiful craft items via the "Make'n'Take" table. A new ideas book and catalogue will be available for viewing on the night.

(Thanks Kay for this lovely card idea.)CRAFT DAY INFORMATION: Only a few more sleeps to go until our next craft marathon at Berowra Old District Hall (9am - whenever). I hope that everyone that is booking in and confirmed for the event is taking the time now to put together the gear you will need on the day in order to save you having to stay up until midnight the night before getting organised!
Here's a reminder of what you may need to bring on the day:
* Lunch, dinner and munchies (fridge/microwave available)
* Coffee Cup/Bottled Water
* Essential Tools
* Paper Trimmer
* Supertape
* Craft Supplies ie. cardstock
* Photos and/or Stamps
* Projects to work on
* Large pad to work on (optional)
* Tablecloth (optional)
* Comfy Slippers (optional)
CRAFT SALE: Please feel free to bring along anything you wish to sell (new or used).
NEW IDEAS: Please also bring along any new ideas you have created or new layouts that you'd like to share.
